This is the harley davidson truck enthusiasts dream. Umc or utilmaster was a corporation created by harley davidson and holiday trailer in 1988 to build the aeromate.. Umc was sold off after the 1994 model year. A lot of the original owners over loaded it and destroyed either the frame or the now non replaceable dexler rear axle. This one is ready to go. Own a piece of harley history that not many have. Very few of these around that are working well. Many were trashed by bike lovers. Has a fan on dash, nice stereo and air conditioning. Two seats in the front and a sliding door to keep the heat and cold in the cab. The rear is super clean with metal walls. Front nose is fiberglass and body is aluminum - no rust. This van was also in the move "men in black" and various tv shows to include the "drew carey show". Truck is very clean in cab as shown in photos. Also the van part is clean and no issues. Paint outside is peeling in spots but in pretty decent shape for the age. What i like about this model is doors open on a hinge very wide unlike previous years which had sliding doors. Called the medallion edition aeromate. Nice sony radio and speakers. All lights and a/c in cab work great. Truck would be great for a plumber, contractor, drywaller, painter, handyman or even for a food truck like an ice cream truck, sno cone truck or hotdog truck. The possibilities are endless. Think of even an advertising truck for maybe a cell phone store . Maintained by the second owner who was a mechanic. I see nothing wrong when driving from the motor, transmission or brakes. Steering seems fine. . Hood latch is rigged and might be something to fix in the future but works ok for the time being. New battery added feb 2. Truck is available for inspection. 1993 umc aeromate step van truck. In pretty good shape! Has a/c and fan in cab. Tires like new and drives very nicely. This van drives almost like a car which helps in smaller areas. Steering seems fine. I don't see a leak but being upfront. May need to eventually look at radiator or cooling. I would do as he mentions. Hood latch is rigged and might be something to fix in the future but works ok for the time being. I also noticed battery is dead when i start it 2x a week. I will try to swap out battery for another to see if this resolves the situation . Truck is available for inspection. Sold as is, where is. Please schedule an inspection before purchase.
